Okay, the kids had a kick out of this… we had dessert for supper! Make your favorite meat loaf recipe and than cover with mash potatoes, and let the kids decorate with ketchup… it went over extremely well!
the candles were for a very happy unbirthday to daddy! lol

another great recipe from the “Home made meals in minutes”
this was super easy.. and my son kept asking for more and more… they are exactly as they promise.. light and flaky! (Yes, yes i know, I can’t spell flaky… sorry!)
Anyhow, dream to make, and melt in your mouth… would make a good crust for something too… i’ll be sure making these again!

What do you do with left over spaghetti? I’m always making more and more because we have growing appetites at our house! So when I make too much, I get out a casserole dish, line the bottom with the sauce (see yesterday’s post). and put the spaghetti on top, a bit of sour cream, and in this case a bit of cilantro, and cheese; bake at 425F for about 30 minutes and yummers!

Do

So, I had a dinner party, and I found this book ,believe it or not, at the dollar store!!! for yes, 1 dollar!!!!
It is an amazing book! You really should try and get a hold of a copy if you can! I attached the link to a sample of a menu, it explains so much on how to host a party!
http://www.diflparties.com/
It was a really helpful book that I’m sure if you buy, you’ll love it! It really does help with planning, not only the food, but organizing your tables, what to serve with the meals, and ideas for parties! I’ll be holding on to this book for years to come I’m sure. And the chili in the book was a HUGE hit! I’ll be making it again!!

(I believe they called it Kickin chilli, but I added the sour cream and cheese on top and tortilla chips on the side as my own special adjustment)

take 3 sheets of pastry dough and brush with oil
line with blueberry filling, and than roll up like a tortilla
